Stefano Saldi is the Attaché for Disarmament and International Security at the Permanent Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva.
After studies at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Creighton University and Moscow State University, he is currently completing his specialization in International Law of Armed Conflicts at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law.
He contributed to various publications on the issue of armed drones, lethal autonomous weapons systems and the weaponization of a.i. In 2016 he was awarded the United Nations Disarmament Fellowship.
